How do I catch Pokémon?

With the new event out Routes, it's a pain as character is to big to walk the roads. A 5 min tasks takes hours. It be nice to have the ability to make character smaller when needed for times like this.

How do I install it it downloads just fine but when I go to install it I hit install and it act like it's going to install but once it gets to the end of the load bar it says app not installed how do I fix that
